
Ballsy
Made for the GMTK Game Jam 2025. Theme: "LOOP"
Ballsy isn't your average golf ball. He's sentient, and he yearns for the holes. But his sentience is limited -- he can only remember a few directions, so he'll continuously loop them... until he gets bonked back into reality.
How to play:
- Plan your shot by filling in a short sequence of directions (up, down, left, right) using "WASD" or the arrow keys. Watch as Ballsy follows your directions to his cozy home in a hole or to his death...
- Adjust and retry whenever he stops short or takes an unexpected plunge.
- Count your strokes—fewer moves means a cleaner round, but the real victory is keeping Ballsy alive and in one piece.
A shocking backstory:
Left for dead in a forgotten bunker, Ballsy discovered he could move under his own power after that fateful thunderbolt. Now he's determined to prove that even a tiny sphere can have a hole-in-one life.
With minimalist pixel art, grid-based levels, and a dash of humor, Ballsy turns each stroke into a small but satisfying puzzle—one roll at a time.
